Do you work in the healthcare sector or in a beauty salon?
MFAs, nurses, beauticians, PTAs and pharmacists can find further training on topics such as climate change and other professionally relevant environmental topics with tips and tricks for implementing resource-optimized practice, clinic or salon management on the AGN Future Academy platform.
The academy was founded by the Working Group for Sustainability in Dermatology (AGN) e. V. the German Dermatological Society (DDG) was founded. It is scientifically oriented and non-profit. Take a look at here what the founders of AGN have to say.
It is now clear that climate change is clearly man-made. There are currently already 2 courses with a total of 5 modules.
- Course 1 Sustainability for practice or beauty salon (coming soon) with 3 modules
- Course 2 Resilience for practice or beauty salon with 2 modules
Courses on topics such as plastics, planetary health, overprescription and occupational dermatology are also planned for the coming months.
Each course consists of 1-3 modules. Each module lasts between 30 and 45 minutes.
The modules are independent of each other and can be completed at any time. You decide in which period you would like to obtain your certificate.
Yes, currently for MFAs. In English: Course 1 and Course 2 and in Turkish: Course 1 - Module 1
To become a climate manager, you must complete at least 10 modules. 8 modules are compulsory, as they contain essential basic knowledge. You can choose the remaining courses according to your interests.
Once you have provided proof that you have completed ten modules, a final exam consisting of 40 multiple-choice questions rounds off your training. If you pass the final exam, we will send you your Climate Manager:in certificate by email.
Your certificate is valid for a period of 2 years. Why is this important? Our knowledge on the subject of sustainability is currently changing rapidly. Of course we will develop new ideas and training courses. However, to keep your finger on the pulse, it makes sense to renew your certificate every 2 years by taking part in an online workshop. In this workshop, we will teach you the latest tips and trends in resource optimization - and extend your certificate for another 2 years.
Sponsors are not allowed to influence the course content. Product advertising is not permitted in our courses.
We have invested a lot of time and research in the development of the courses. The AGN uses the income to finance its running costs. If the fees are not covered by your employer, you can later deduct them from your taxes.
